Behind Mayur’s professional achievements lies a deeply personal connection to art. Born on September 26, 1990, in Dhamangaon Railway, Maharashtra, he grew up in a family that celebrated creativity. His father, Mr. Prakash Gangasagar, and grandfather, Narayanrao Gangasagar, were both artists who instilled in him a profound appreciation for craftsmanship.
Mayur’s artistic journey began at the age of four when he first picked up a paintbrush. Inspired by his family’s annual tradition of sculpting Ganesha and Durga idols for local festivals, he developed a unique style that blends emotion, history, and modernity. Influenced by artistic legends like M.F. Husain, Tyeb Mehta, S.H. Raza, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent van Gogh, Mayur’s work captures both personal and universal narratives.
Over the years, his paintings have been exhibited in national and international galleries across India and Australia. Working on large canvases, he channels his passion for dramatic stories, nature, and abstract concepts into every piece.
Mayur’s dual identity as a visual effects expert and a traditional artist allows him to bridge the gap between technology and emotion. Whether he’s leading a team on a high-profile film or pouring his heart into a painting, his work reflects a deep commitment to storytelling and innovation.
